Labour MP for Middlesbrough. Shadow Secretary of State for Employment Rights and Protections.

This may be an incomplete list. If you think we're missing someone, please send us their Name, Country/State, Political Party, Office they hold or are seeking and, of course, Twitter handle. Thanks!

I’ve finally received a reply after 5 months laying out proposals to create a campus in the North. These plans are welcome & will play a vital part in the government’s long-overdue commitment to ‘levelling up’. I’ll keep pushing for Middlesbrough to be the chosen location.

RT @AndyMcDonaldMP: The exploitation of garment workers in Leicester is just the tip of the iceberg. 936,000 people were underpaid the min wage between Apr-Jun 2019. @AlokSharma_RDG couldn’t say what’s been done in the face of COVID-19 to end these criminal abuses that threaten public health. https://t.co/tTqJc8eiFJ

RT @AndyMcDonaldMP: This flagrant attempt at union busting by blackmailing staff over PPE is a total outrage. It's an utterly disgraceful way for any employer to behave, let alone towards key workers who've put their lives on the line day in, day out during this crisis. https://t.co/sbc3hbSwYB

RT @VICEUK: Listen to a cleaning company boss suggest they may only provide potentially life-saving PPE if workers disaffiliate from their trade union. Read the full, shocking story here: vice.com/en_uk/article/… https://t.co/OW9z6BVqfU

RT @AndyMcDonaldMP: The government must tackle the widespread issues of underpayment and unsafe working conditions that have been brought to light again by the terrible treatment of workers in the garment industry in Leicester. Here's my letter to @AlokSharma_RDG demanding action. https://t.co/cJBmkIm69p

RT @UKLabour: On this day in 1987 the UK elected its first Black MPs. To celebrate, we’re sharing their stories and the stories of others. First up, Paul Boateng, who in 1987 became MP for Brent South and became the UK’s first mixed-race Cabinet Minister in 2002. Watch this ✊🏾 https://t.co/ncD3JxRs6D

Andy McDonald MP (Labour) tweeted :

I wrote to @Jacob_Rees_Mogg last week to set out how his decisions are dangerous, discriminatory, and anti-democratic. The government is sending out the message that rule makers are rule breakers, irresponsibly undermining the public health message intended to save lives. https://t.co/GZ2sKSxNnI

RT @AndyMcDonaldMP: I stand in solidarity with those struggling for their rights and against police brutality and systemic racism in the USA, here in the UK, and across the world #BlackLivesMatter
