Former MP looking forward to spending a lot less time with social media.

@macilleathain81 If only we could patronise our way out of the panedmic, eh?

RT @xeireannmcauley: We sat for weeks predicting grades. Teachers and unions raised major concerns...all of which have unfolded today. This should not fall on the shoulders of classroom teachers. When you say you are going to trust teachers who know their kids and school best - you really should.

How do avoid using "the language of four nations" when we are literally four nations?

Ged Killen (UKMPs) retweeted @JeremyDuns :

RT @JeremyDuns: I love this obituary in my old school's magazine. He landed at Normandy on D-Day, helped liberate Belsen, married the man he loved - and finally decided to live by the name he'd always wanted. Here's to Bill. https://t.co/Qram6FwrnA

Ged Killen (UKMPs) replied to @PaulEmbery :

@PaulEmbery Flu season is 5-6 months. 17,000 had died of COVID19 within 6 weeks. It's more infectious and more deadly, there is no vaccine and few effective treatments. Unlike flu, masks, hand hygiene, and physical distancing are the only options we have.

Ged Killen (UKMPs) replied to @Gedk :

Ged Killen (UKMPs) tweeted :

Until this figure drastically improves, the Scottish Government's daily figures on new infections are statistically meaningless. We can't come out of lockdown unless we can monitor how the virus is spreading.

RT @jcullinane86: The Scot Govt have had education teams in councils devising 'blended learning' plans for weeks, including teachers working on curriculum etc. Those plans have been communicated with parents and now, days before the summer holidays, we are to prepare for a full-time return

Nearly £1 million to turn it into a British Airways plane?

Ged Killen (UKMPs) tweeted :

Weasel words. The PM's conclusion isn't compatible with continuing to beat this dreadful disease. It's no longer a decision about whether Cummings was right or wrong, it's a decision to continue the lockdown strategy or abandon it completely.
