This is welcome, but it's clear that the care home crisis caught the Government off-guard, and as a result the deaths in social care settings are fast increasing. Too slow to report on the cases & deaths Too slow to test residents and staff Too slow to send out sufficient PPE
RT @warkspolice: We're appealing for information following a suspected stabbing in Leamington last night. Officers were called at 10.50pm after a man was found injured on Holly Walk. It's believed he had sustained the injury in an earlier altercation on Mason Avenue: bit.ly/2zk0EUj https://t.co/vWearZICNR
With 2 weeks to go from the target of 100k tests a day- we've only reached 15%. Ireland tests twice as many as the UK per capita- death rate is half of ours. Care home workers & residents feel abandoned as the Govt fails to get a grip. My 2 questions for today's Govt briefing👇 https://t.co/vBuE2kbIDo
RT @MattWestern_: I sat down last night to pay tribute to our heroic health and care workers. Despite all of the hardships they have faced with testing and PPE, they are doing so much for all of us. We all must do our part to help them through this crisis. Please, stay at home. https://t.co/1FRpFqSFpb
When the Telegraph and the Mail call out the Government's woeful record on providing protective equipment and testing NHS staff, you know that there isn't a valid excuse left. Test NHS staff & provide them with the correct PPE now. #RealityNotRhetoric itv.com/news/2020-04-0…
I've jointly written a letter with @WarwickSU asking student letting agents and landlords to do the right thing and release students in Leamington from their housing contracts if needed. Everyone is being affected by covid-19. We all must play our part in supporting communities. https://t.co/IVy548fUys
